Orbitalum Tools develops and produces portable tube and pipe saws, tube squaring machines, pipe end preparation machines, orbital welding power supplies as well as open and enclosed orbital weld heads.

WEEE Directive (2012/19/EU)
Our products are subject to the European WEEE directive (2012/19/EC). By fulfilling the required obligations, we draw attention to the following: Used electrical equipment may not be disposed of with household waste. The user is obliged by law to dispose it only at suitable collection points. Please note that commercially used electrical and electronic devices (B2B) must not be disposed using public or community supplied disposal systems. Since 2005, Orbitalum Tools GmbH is registered in Germany at the Stiftung EAR under the WEEE reg. no. DE 67192550.
RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS 2 Directive)
Orbitalum Tools GmbH (Orbitalum) hereby declares that all products Orbitalum deliver to you are in compliance with the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU of 8 June 2011 and the Commission Delegated Directive (EU) 2015/863 of 31 March 2015 amending Annex II to Directive 2011/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the list of restricted substances.
Compliance is evidenced by written declaration from our suppliers. Orbitalum might use following RoHS exemptions for RoHS compliances (according to 2011/65/EU, Annex III) on component level: 6a, 6b, 6c, 7a, 7c. (I, II), 8b and 8b.I.
Orbitalum products which have been removed from the sales program (obsolete products) are excluded from coverage of this declaration.
REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals)
The Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and Council for the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) regulates the manufacturing, the placing on the market and the use of chemical substances and related mixtures.
Our products are exclusively articles within the meaning of REACH. In accordance with Article 33 of the REACH regulation, suppliers of articles shall inform their customers in the case that any product is delivered which contains a substance included in the REACH candidate list (SVHC list) in quantities of more than 0.1 percent by mass. On 27/06/2018, lead (CAS: 7439-92-1 / EINECS: 231-100-4) has been added to the candidate list SVHC. This addition involves a notification obligation within the supply chain.
We therefore hereby inform you that individual sub-components of our products contain lead larger than 0.1 percent by mass as an alloying element in steel, aluminum and copper alloy as well as in solder melts and capacitors of electronic components. The lead contents are within the defined exceptions of the RoHS regulation.
